  • It is good to see that I am not the only one who picked up on the similarities between Scientology’s e-meter and the various flavors of so-called lie detectors. Many of you may remember the comments I made comparing “Dr.” Charles Humble to L. Ron Hubbard of Scientology. All examiners in the lie industry work like Scientologist auditors, but I think Humble is the most like a Scientologist auditor.
First, let’s compare the various ranks of NITV to Scientology. Like Scientology, voice stress analysts, (i.e. the taxpayers) pay to play to go up the ranks. If I recall correctly, there are four ranks of voice stress analysts. Scientology has the eight operating thetan levels.
Second, both Scientology and NITV rely on pseudo-science to peddle the e-meter and CVSA.
Third, Hubbard and Humble are both self proclaimed renaissance men and both awarded themselves fake doctorates.
Fourth, both were and are quick to sue and threaten to sue. For example, we are nearly at the six year anniversary when Humble told AP to take down their site within ten days. I will be writing a post next month, like I do every year, reminding others of Humble’s wimp-out. Wadda pansy.
Fifth, they both are battling evil overlords. In the case of Scientology, it is Xenu; with NITV it is the polygraph industry.
The main point I make is the both Scientology and the lie industry need to be in the dust bin of history. They are both harmful.
