You people are amazing.  I see how this works.  If people send in message that agree with you agenda then all is well.  But, if some fool like me follows the stupid advice in your idiot book and it does not work then you don't know them.  My probation does not allow me to have a computer or go on the Internet but I risk it because I read about your site in my treatment group.  I see than now I am in trouble you don't want to have anything to do with me.  Well, thanks for nothing.  I now have no idea what to say at my hearing.  They are sure to put me back in jail.  I wonder how many other have gone to jail to help you with your agenda?

Sorry, "Retao", but I'm still not buying.

You've fessed up to molesting a child, but you're not in jail?

You claim a bunch of people are thinking about suing George for his advice, his advice failed you, and you still want his help?

It's also remarkable how much your "testimonial" reads like the typical unsupported polygrapher boast.  Instead of trying to convince us that you're legit, you're jumping into exactly the kind of claims polygraphers have made here about how things that don't "fit the agenda" are ignored.

Color me highly unconvinced.

P.S. if I had a dollar for every time someone has anonymously claimed something bogus on the Internet...

RETAO,

By your own words in another posting.  You were sunk by the "testimony" of an "eyewitness" to physical events which you participated in.  Forget about the polygraph, you have bigger things to be concerned about.

What is the name of your Probation Officer, and in what court's jurisdiction are you on probation? What is the name of the Polygrapher who interrogated you?

RETAO,

If you are real and not someones idea of a sick joke, I for one am thrilled you got busted. I think that your probation officer, polygrapher, and all involved law enforcement should get an merit award. Calling a 10 year old your lover, and stating the she was mature for her age? Under what slimmy rock did you crawl from? Anything that can be done to gain confessions from scum like you is good for me! Do society a favor...Take your own life!  Maybe and just maybe your 10 year old victim can start the healing process.

As for the polygraph, if it's only mission was to gain confessions from criminals and scum like RETAO, Geroge would have never written the book and this site would not exist. There are pros and cons to everything.

Exactly!

You know, even if RETAO;s story is bogus, the very thought that some sick lunatic would even contemplate saying such insanity is enough to make one disgusted.  This garbage spewed into this site is enough to prove the pro and con points of censorship.

Sadly, this thread has had way too much attention!

Seeker,

I don't care if this is a fabrication...The fabricator has a twisted mind..Just seeing that in black and white makes me sick..

I agree with PeterFonda. Whoever dreamed this whole story up is very sick, and should get some professional help. Makes me think of the guys who work chat rooms all day pretending to be 12 year-old boys looking for older men. Or the ones who surf the Net and IRC looking for (and at) child pornography. All in the name of "ridding the world of sickos". They're the ones who are sick.
At any rate the banter is quite entertaining despite the subject matter.

Gee orolon,

You might be interested to know that you are the ONLY person I know of who has ANY problem with police detectives going after adult men who troll for children on the internet.  You are not by chance one of those "older men" who got caught ::)  Or maybe, you are just afraid of getting caught... ???

Makes me wonder...

Would you mind quoting the passage in orolan's post where he mentions the words, 'police detectives'?

Poly-Cop,
I have no problem with "police detectives" arresting people seeking out children on the Internet, and never said I did.
I do think that chat room stings are a waste of resources. The fact that people are being caught in spite of the extensive media attention given to these stings just goes to show that the "perpetrators" are idiots. Such idiots will be caught no matter what.
I am not surprised that you disagree with my opinion that anybody pretending to be a child seeking sex has mental problems. After all, you make a living practicing voodoo science. In my opinion, there isn't much difference.

Orolan

You're an idiot, a pedophile or both!  No amount of resources to keep child molestors off the street is a waste of time.  For you to place law enforcement officials in the same class as child molestors shows your true colors.   >:(

PeterFonda

Saidme,

Your attack on Orolan is a bit strong and unjustified! I think with the exception of the sex offenders that use this board...Pro or Con the polygraph, we all must feel satisfaction when a sicko like Retao, (if real) gets caught, even if getting caught involves the polygraph.

Nothing that Orolan has written recently or in the past would justify your nasty comments.

Actually, I think if you review Orolan's comments you'll find that he didn't claim such.

He said "Makes me think of the guys who work chat rooms all day pretending to be 12 year-old boys looking for older men. Or the ones who surf the Net and IRC looking for (and at) child pornography. All in the name of "ridding the world of sickos". They're the ones who are sick. "

I didn't get the impression he was necessarily talking about law enforcement people with the above (perhaps he could clarify).  He might be referring to self-styled vigilantes.  Regardless, he clearly didn't say he was referring to "detectives" or "law enforcement officials" in any sense.

Orolan was responding to a blatant troll likely posted by a polygrapher or polygraph backer.  And he's right -- what was posted was sick, and the person who posted it clearly has few scruples when it comes to dealing with others.  I won't go so far as to group the poster with pedophiles, but that's about the best I can say for him or her.

By the way: I'd be interested in the opinions of any legal types regarding possible consequences of public claims of child molestation activity by an internet poster.  Seems to me that it wouldn't be a smart thing to claim just to try to intimidate Mr. Maschke, but I'm not a lawyer.
