	My spouse was told this in an attempt to explain my test results which then completely changed in the course of a 2 day period. I am confused as to what the phrase means. Also what would the standard test format for an issue specific test?

If you can obtain a copy of your polygraph charts, I might be able to venture a guess. There are a variety of polygraph techniques used in connection with so-called "specific issue" polygraph "tests." The most common is the Zone Comparison Test. Like other polygraphic lie tests, it has no scientific basis. This particular technique was devised by a crackpot who believed that plants can read human thoughts.
