Will Your Representatives Allow It?!

I think that now is an appropriate time for each of us to ask our elected representatives in Congress the following question:

"Now that the National Academy of Sciences has conducted an exhaustive study and found polygraph screening to be invalid, and even dangerous to national security, are you going to allow federal law enforcement and intelligence agencies to continue its use?"

I encourage everyone to write a letter to your congressperson and both senators, putting this question directly to them, and to post their replies here.

As an alternative to writing a letter, you might call their local offices to schedule a face-to-face meeting to discuss the issue of polygraph screening (if not with the legislator him- or herself, then with a staffer).
