I am trying to find out if questions about your medical history can be asked in a pre-employment polygraph test?

Also would the polygraph for a 911 operator be as intrusive as say for a police offiver position.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I don't think there is any agency-wide polygraph question set that is used for screening 911 operators.

It seems reasonable to expect that areas covered will be the same as are included in your application packet. It seems unlikely that questions about medical history would be asked directly, but one common question asked in pre-employment polygraph screening is, "Have you been completely truthful about everything in your application?"

If you face a pre-employment polygraph "test," the most important thing is that you realize that polygraph "testing" is a fraud: the lie detector cannot detect lies. And it has a built-in bias against truthful persons. Agencies use the polygraph anyway because it is useful for eliciting damaging and/or embarrassing admissions from naive and gullible subjects.
