Is not disclosure true?  I bombed out on a poly with a Fed agency and don't want it getting out.  It would definitely not help me where I work now (another fed agency).  What's the deal.  I don't believe it.

Norman,

Sorry to hear about your bombed poly. I was told the same thing regarding non-disclosure when I failed my CIA polygraph. As far as I know, the non-disclosure issue relates to the fact that the agency will not go out of its way to publish or disseminate the results of your polygraph.

HOWEVER, federal agencies have been known to obtain polygraph reports from other federal agencies that a given candidate has previously applied to. So, from your description of your situation, I think you're safe, since you're already in your current agency. However, if you ever apply to another federal agency (or re-apply to the one at which you just failed the poly), that failed poly may well come back to haunt you.

Hope that helps.

Thanks false P.  That don't sound like what they told me in the torture chair.  I can't believe I was ever enticed into going.  I'm not Ghandi but, damn, I wouldn't even had to have lied.  As it was I didn't and I still tanked.  Never again - their loss.
