As reported on the blog, a former Arkansas Department of Corrections employee named Bianca Fletcher has filed a federal lawsuit against NITV, which markets the Computer Voice Stress Analyzer (CVSA), "Dr." Charles Humble (the creator of CVSA), and an NITV employee named Gene Shook:

Assuming the case survives procedural challenges, I think discovery should prove interesting.

I would be interested to hear from anyone with knowledge of the Arkansas Department of Corrections' use of CVSA.

Why is she not bringing suit against the Arkansas Dept of Corrections for illegal termination? Missing is their input as to why she was terminated. I find it hard to believe that she would be let go an the CVSA results alone. Sounds like she is going after the company for $$, a "Shook Shakedown."

Bianca Fletcher's lawsuit against NITV was settled in mediation on 8 January 2021 and was dismissed by stipulation of the parties on 16 April 2021. Terms of the settlement have not been publicly disclosed.
