cvsa and the polygraph

So I found something interesting today, I was researching cvsa vs. Polygraph testing today because I noticed the CHP (california highway patrol) use cvsa and most California city departments use the polygraph. As I scrolled down through the links I noticed that both official websites tried to discredit the other. They both had links to "prove" their device was more accurate than the other. Now the problem with this, is they are both proving both their tests are unreliable. If they wanted to strike fear into the eyes of their subjects they would give each other credit. It is just sad to see so many people's lives and dreams hang in the balance of American government paranoia. Truely a tragedy for anyone who has to take these.
