I have done a couple of stupid things when I was young

I was wondering if these things automaticaly disqualify me a job in the FBI. I have smoked marijuana, sold maybe 40 dollars worth that I stole from my brother, sold packs of ciggaretts to kids and have taken steroids. I know it doesent
sound good which is why I wanted to know if I have a shot at the polygraph test. I always wanted to be in the FBI and I would hate for some stupid mistakes while I was young to permanently screw up my chances. I was thinking maybe I can just tell the examiner I have sold ciggarettes which is why I got nervous at the selling drugs question. Any help with this is greatly appreciated.

You should answer the questions truthfully during your background investigation.  To do any less would be unethical, which is certainly not the way to start off a career in law enforcement.

If the choices you have made in the past disqualify you then seek employment elsewhere.

if there is something in there that would automatically disqualify me there would be no point in telling the truth. Being an FBI Special Agent is something i always wanted to do and i am not going to give up. I know they ask you on the application but do they ask you during the polygraph test if you have ever sold drugs or do they just ask you if you have taken them before?
