Hi everyone,

Right now I am going to be entering my senior year at a top 50 US university. I am double-majoring in international relations and history with a current GPA of 3.03 (my major GPA is significantly higher).

I am looking at applying for positions in the CIA as an intelligence analyst and another position as an NSA intelligence analyst intern. I have some language skills in Chinese (mandarin) but I would not consider myself proficient in reading or writing.

I do not have any criminal record, drug use, or media violations. I have sought some help several years ago for some job related stress and social anxiety. I was briefly on medication but I have since stopped as my condition has improved.

My question is, given my GPA which is not top notch, do I have a reasonable chance of getting the positions? Do you think there is anything else I can do at school to increase my chances in the event I am rejected? How important are those supplemental essay questions on the CIA application? Thank you.

Pursing BS Mechanical engineering and Bio-Technology Engineering (double degree)

Proficient in Mandarin, Cantonese, and regional Chinese (plus writing and reading, I was born in China :) Family speaks Mandarin all the time.

But I'm a US citizen. :D

I've work for U.S. D.O.T NHTSA internship this summer and still have security clearance, not sure what level.

Whats my chance of getting a internship with CIA? If my GPA is only 3.0?

I haven't apply yet, but reading all posts here, look like its hard to get in.  So before doing so, can someone tell me what my chance of getting in with my GPA and background (clean)
