Hi. I recently had my Polygraph. On the first two series of questions I had the bloodpressure cuff on My right Upperarm. on the last series of questions the examiner moved the cuff to my right forearm. Is this common. MD

While it is not common for polygraph operators to re-position the blood pressure cuff during the "in-test" phase, it's not unheard of, either. The polygrapher may do this if the examinee complains of discomfort or if for some reason he is unhappy with the tracings.

My BP cuff was moved to my *calf* during an FBI poly several years ago because I have a tendency to unconciously fidget my fingers when concentrating intensely on something.
