Another sad but true story about polygraph

Hey Everyone,
About six months ago, I started my new job at a large hospital in Pascagoula, Mississippi.  I had just left the casino industry and was rather excited when a friend from he past had informed me about a few open positions in the Security Police area of the hospital.  I applied and within weeks was gainfully employed with the promise of great wages and most important, benefits.  As a result,  I was ready to begin the orientation process w/ training beginning as well.  One friday evening, I was called to a patients room to collect valubles.  This is one of the services that officers provide to staff and patients in the facility.  Upon arrival, the patient had well over a thousand dollars (1,000) in his billfold he wanted to lock up.  After collecting the valubles, I walked down the Emergency Dept. to find a registration clerk to assist in locking up the loot, as per policy.  Once I arrived, I came in contact w/ my relief that night and he walked up w/ me as well as the clerk I needed to assist in locking up the money.  Once done w/ the task, I left property w/o any incident.  The following Monday I recieved a phone call from my supervisor asking if I had collected any valubles during the week before.  At first I didn't remember any, but upon some detailed information, I told him did.  He advised me that 900.00 dollars had been taken from the bag.  I told him I had no clue what could have happened.  I had not worked at the hospital all weekend long!!!  There was no way possible I took the money!  After being interviewed by the local police department, I agreed to a polygraph exam.  I traveled on my own dime to Alabama to take one from a guy with name of Bubba.  Great.  After some control test questions and questions that had nothing to do with the specific event, I failed.  In the office, I was called a liar and a theif and we discussed the squiggly lines on a piece of paper and I signed them, like an idiot.  Long story short, I lost my job.  Also, there is a lucky officer who is theif, and got away with it b/c I didn't pass the polygraph.  I hope he steals again......
