Experts: results if I said YES to stealing?

About five years ago, I stole from an employer (a few hair products and about $15.  Now I have to undergo a TS clearance with a CounterIntelligence poly.  I'm afraid they won't pass me, even if I admit to this.

Can some experts please let me know if I should be worried?  Thanks.
