Using BREATHING COUNTERMEASURE

 ??? I have been researching the breathing countermeasure, I was wondering how it is deployed. I do understand that you have to maintane a breathing rate that lasts for 2-4 secs. But what i am quite confused about is when do i deploy the countermeasure.?

 i see where TLBD states after a CQ, but does that mean i slow my breathing down after a CQ is taken? if i dont fully understand this by my poly test i am not even going to try to deploy this method.
