I had a test where they had irrelevant and control questions in the test, would it be wrong to use CM's during irrelevant questions along with control questions and when the examiner lstaes the test is will now begin/end?

While it may be beneficial to augment reactions to announcements of the beginning and end of the "test," it is not helpful (and may result in an accusation of countermeasure use) to augment reactions to irrelevant questions.
