Can anyone provide insight into this stage of the application process?  I heard it takes 4-6 months after the polygraph and BI.

Why such a long wait?  If someone makes it to that stage, what are the odds of making it all the way?

Any anecdotes or links greatly appreciated! -b

When I attended the orientation class, I was told that the adjudication takes about four weeks. I don't know if your job is secured although I think that after the polygraph and the BI, it is unlikely that they will turn you away. Hang in there body and be patient.

I can't remember what they told me at the orientation session, but I'm currently in the adjudication phase, and they are saying the normal wait is 4-6 MONTHS!  The one thing I have learned from this whole process is that it requires a lot of patience.  I applied way back last October and I entered adjudication last June, and I'm still waiting.  So my advice is to be patient.

And as far as making it to the adjudication phase, that doesn't necessarily mean that you are out of the woods.  Yes, if they had reason to ding you after the BI and poly they would have, but you can still get dinged during adjudication...

Anyway, best of luck and happy waiting!

50% of all COEs are rescinded.  But I've also heard it to be 80-90%.  remember, these guys have thousands of apps to choose from.  you may have passed all the tests, but you're still competing with others.
