wondering

I had my poly the other day......i was honest....i felt good going through the interview, and i had nothing on my mind during the test. After the test he came back for the post test and said he had questions on 2 of my answers...my sexual history and my drug history. I informed him that i had given him all acurate info involving those areas and had nothing "on my mind" when he asked me those questions.  I then said to him, "if i showed changes in those questions, whouldnt that show when u asked my if i had lied at all in the interview".  To that there was no real answer, but  the post test ended after that.  He said that if he had any major concerns, he would test me further on those areas.  I openly offered to do that to clear up any unsuraties(given that i told him the truth in full). He said that would not be necessary.  However, he wouldnt say if i passed or failed. He said, "I dont feel the need to question u further".   I feel like i passed....but i guess by what he said.....i could have failed miserably, but i dont feel that i did. I didnt use countermeasures given that i havent read enough about them. I wanted to go the "honest route", but needless to say......im nervous as hell of failing and screwing my career.  Im just looking for an opinion from the seasoned veterans on this board. any input is awesome...thanks.

sounds like you passed. if he asked you a question like "did you lie during our interview", that sounds like a sacrifice relevant question if you were using the DODPI format as outlined on the document from this site. Those questions arent scored according to the document.

Thats all conjecture by me, but the manual was so accurate about my test that I tend to believe its how its still done more or less today. tho you may have had a different test
