I have found during recent research that several local police departments in Virginia do NOT routinely subject their applicants for law enforcement positions to the greatly falliable pseudoscience of the polygraph.

Franklin County Sherrif's Office

Town of Rocky Mount

Town of Dublin

Pulaski County Sherrif's Office
