rochetag,
Glad to hear that you got things straightened out. Keep in mind as you agree to submit to a poly that it's a severe blow to tell the truth during one, fail and be subjected to mental abuse by a polygraph examiner. Make sure you know what you're getting yourself into before you submit to one. The results will never be erased from your permanent FBI file. Failures will follow you and limit future career choices.  Good luck.

Exactly. And not to mention the mental anguish and stresses of having to tell your family and friends that you are no longer involved in the process because the FBI accused you of being a drug user/seller/crackhead/ and a National Security breech.

Your siblings -  :o
Your parents -  >:(
Your friends - ???
YOU -  :'(

While it is very true that I have never taken a polygraph, I have no idea what is going to happen. I can only read what others have endured, and it sounds as if it is not an exact science. With that said, knowing that my background has not been perfect, I am looking forward to the opportunity. I have heard that it is not a lifestyle poly, but, that could be totally irrelevant when it comes to a poly. I should be getting a call very shortly, and will let you know what happens.

I was already to the point of being disbarred from federal employment due to the mistake and being rejected after the background, now I feel that the poly cannot be worse than what I just went through. Again, since I have never been through this process, I feel that I have much to learn.
