Acc
ording to a 6 February 2003 New York Post article by Michael Starr titled, "Now Anna Nicole is Going Bleepless",  an upcoming live episode of "The Anna Nicole Show" is going to feature a "lie detector":
QuoteThe live episode - set to air Sunday, March 2 on E! - will be "chock-full of dating truths and dares," according to E! Anna will be armed with a lie detector to see if the five hopefuls are really telling the truth.

Fair Chance

If the polygraph were to be used for entertainment purposes only I would have no qualms with its usage.

Nor would I! Lie detectors do seem to have found a niche in T.V. Land, being used on shows like Jenny Jones, Meet My Folks, and now the Anna Nicole Show. By the way, "Dr." Ed Gelb did a TV show with F. Lee Bailey called "Lie Detector" some years ago.
