Failed FBI polygraph, now trying for DOJ

Last year I failed an FBI polygraph based over a post polygraph admission concerning one instance where I put a pot pipe to my mouth, but did not inhale. Now, I may be working as a summer law clerk with a U.S. Attorney's Office. How concerned do you think DOJ will be about this failed FBI polygraph and would it be serious enough to not grant me a security clearance. I plan on fully disclosing everything with my background check paperwork.
