Admin Approval Required for Guest Posts and New Registrations

Since we moved this forum from YaBB to Simple Machines Forum (SMF) in May of this year, the forum has become the target of continuing automated spam (both guest posts and new registrations). In order to mitigate this problem, guests posts and new registrations must be approved by an administrator.

The practical effect of this is that when you create a post as a guest, it won't immediately be seen by others. You'll initially be shown a screen saying that the post does not exist. Don't worry, no need to re-post.

Similarly, when you register an account, it won't be immediately activated. Legitimate posts and registrations will be approved as soon as possible.
