A few days ago I took a poly for LAPD. This is my third in ten years (the other two were at a small agency I was working for). Everytime, I have always been told my breathing is below normal and not to control it. Whereas I look at it - when I sit and look at small spot on a wall without being allowed to move, I tend to let my mind wander and my body slows down. By the time I would answer 'no' to a question, I was already three thoughts ahead as to what else do I need to do at work when I get back. Plus the nice steady pain from the blood cuff always feels nice.

I have already been scheduled for a retest because of my 'No Opinion' Test. Has anyone else had to take it again and how many times before even an inconclusive causes a fail? The last two times I took the test a few years ago, I passed. So now do I have to speed up my breathing? lol
