Question for Polygraphers: When the subject is accused of deception, why don't you show him or her the charts?

During the pre-test phase of a polygraph, the subject/applicant will be told to intentionally lie so that the polygrapher can "calibrate" the machine.  Then the polygrapher tells the subject that the polygraph machine shows clearly when he or she is lying.

During the polygraph or post-test interrogation, the subject will be accused of deception on a question.  The polygrapher will sometimes not specify which question in hopes that the subject will snitch on his or herself.

The subject will NEVER see the polygraph charts.

Polygraphers, why don't you show subjects/applicants their charts to prove that the machine shows deception?

Because they are trying to scare applicants into disqualifying admissions and psychologically abuse and interrogate them.
