Are there any exercises or techniques to calm yourself down before the test.  Im taking a pre-employment DLCQT.  I've read the LBTLD multiple times, but since my future is on the line with voodoo science, im still a ball of nerves.    And if I do manage to calm myself down, what if the polygrapher senses the contempt I have for them or the process?  What if they pick up on cues that I dont fear or respect the machine?  Would that end up as an automatic failure?

All things aside, I'll tell you what I was told:
If you're nervous, just feel it.  Allow yourself to feel.  It's not natural to push that down.
