The Nelson County Gazette has published to YouTube video of an FBI post-polygraph interrogation that will be of interest to those considering submitting to a polygraph "test." FBI polygraph interrogations are not routinely recorded.

In the video, an un-named FBI polygrapher attempts to get a confession in a missing person case. Nick Houck was a policeman in the Bardstown, Kentucky police department. In July 2015, his brother, Brooks Houck's girlfriend, Crystal Rogers went missing. Nick Houck was polygraphed regarding whether he had any knowledge about Rogers' disappearance.

Houck emphatically denied any knowledge of Rogers' disappearance. The FBI polygrapher uses the Reid technique of cutting off all denials (despite claiming that he's not going to use the Reid technique) and minimization, among others:

Houck was ultimately fired for allegedly advising his brother not to cooperate with an investigator. Neither brother has not been charged with any crime. Background on the case is available here:
