Not sure to whom exactly you are replying to, but at any rate:

It's not a true personality test per se. You also can't really "cheat" on it either.

The one thing which truly "translates to both dishonest and stupid" is the MMPI itself!

The test items and the methodology of the MMPI are both dishonest and stupid. Kind of like the polygraph actually.

in New York State, they rely on John Wapner, who administers these tests in bulk, to the Albany Police Department, Fire Department, and many other agencies.

the problem is, John Wapner has never once purchased a psychometric examination himself and he also has no current and updated training in scoring the MMPI 2.  Additionally, for example, the other psychometric testing he is and has been responsible for with APD the booklets have the answers in them for the candidates they want.  Wapner illegally administers MMPI 2 tests, outdated Rorschack tests and TAT, for the NYS Dept. of Civil Service.  This john wapner is a friggen weezle.  If you have been victimized by him, there is a suit against him in Federal Court, Albany NY.
I have been on both sides, I was issued a test in 1990 that had the answers in it.  In 2007 post employment with OSC, who has Wapner issue these tests in bulk.  he also erases answers.  This guy should be reviewed by the APA.  He has mostly borrowed tests, and copied them.  He is a nut case.

I have just completed the Original MMPI test today. The web site you mentioned contains completely different questions than the MMPI!

The MMPI is a different test from the MMPI-2.  The questions on the Russian site posted above is for the MMPI-2 exam, and they are 100% accurate.

Yep, the 177 preview test questions shown on that site are the same from the site posted above. 

Remember folks, this is for the MMPI-2, not the original MMPI.  There is a huge difference.  See the wikipedia article about it here.

I dont think you should need to study for this test...... If you do..... Ummmmmmm? Only thing I hate about it is how long it is. The questions are simple lol just put what you feel fits you best..... Goodluck

did you know that Eisentien ( yes the great physiscits) could not pass an IQ test?  yep yep     so this and these sorts of tests are disqusting in that it all depends on who interpets them..... to bad this is how we decide who does or doesn't get a job.... :-/

If you were looking at the results form the link listed above for the MMPI-2, what would trigger a negative response when applying for law enforcement? obviously agencies have different criteria but maybe you can give me an idea of what is "normal". here's a few examples of my results
