But Sarah came here seeking advice. Based on the information provided in her post, I'm unable to draw any conclusion regarding whether her sheriff's department in fact unduly relied on polygraph results to prematurely terminate a criminal investigation, or whether the polygraph was merely used as an interrogational ruse (as it often is) in a case where absent a confession, probable cause for an arrest did not exist.

Googling logical fallacies might also be helpful, if what you want is information. 

But if what you want is to crash someone else's social networking support space under a cloak of anonymity to engage in ignorant, petty oneupsmanship, then you're winning.  I have a gold medal in my desk just for you, if you'll give me your name and address.
