Does anyone know how heavily they way infidelity in the "whole person" concept of a full-scope/lifestyle poly, let's say vs drug abuse, criminal acitivity, etc?

Infidelity by someone cleared, makes them vulnerable to being blackmailed or manipulated by outside sources. Thereby making them a security risk. From past information I know that this is generally a disqualifier as some military folks I know got caught cheating. the result was the spouse found out, and the cheater lost there clearances and his spouse to divorce. The only choice to negate the infidelity is to tell your significant other (I am assuming your married). And hope your forgiven. The full scope poly will go into this area, as is the basis of an integrity judgement.

I've seen other posts where people say it isn't necessarily a disqualifier, so I'm a bit confused.  Are there levels (ie, one night stand vs affair)?  In the pre-test interview, if you tell polygrapher about incident, would you say I'm willing to mitigate it by telling spouse if need be?  Is this integrity vs coersion or both?

Wondering this myself.  NSA Poly coming up.  Did some stupid things (infidelity), but have a great job that I'm already working there, on a poly-waiver (I was military there for 2 years, now contractor).

I am confused on the "tell everything" vs. the "they don't need to know" line of thinking.
