I appplied to NSA about 20 yrs ago, took one poly and then was called back for a second. During the second poly, I made admissions; i know dumb move but I was young. My questions are:

1) Will the fact that I applied to NSA show up when a National Agency Check (NAC) is run?

2) How long does NSA retain application records

Expro,

I did the same at the NSA in 2000.  Don't feel bad.

They don't keep employment applications, but your failed polycrap results are retained.  Not only that, but they are shared by other agencies.

I got contacted by my friendly neighborhood FBI agent over my NSA polygraph results.  Believe it or not, they actually do take the results seriously.
