Okay, Chris  Now think of the color RED.  Now I don't want you to think of the color RED in the next 5 minutes.   Have you thought of it - thought you would.  Tell the truth and forget the manipulations or YOU WILL GET CAUGHT! :o

I plan on telling the truth...obviously you have not read much on this site...telling the truth is quite often not enough. You try and be witty but to me you are just closed minded and uneducated about polygraph testing.

Uneducated on polygraphs...how long did it take you to think of that one? You and I both know who is educated and it isn't you.   As for your other posts - how about 'I am a bit a of a exibitionist/voyeur at times....just minor...I have never walked around naked in public or anything, but because of the "weirdness" of it I don't want to disclose it. '    That speaks volumes about your honesty and that was only one post. ;D

When you get caught attempting countermeasures, don't forget to come back here and complain about THE LIE BEHIND The Lie Behind The Lie Detector. :'(

With this message board you have to learn to read between the posts to get your answer. ;)
I think the answer provided by Donna and Sancho to your question is "yes".

Echasta - you don't ever have to read between the lines of what I write.  Practicing CM's and actually doing them and not getting caught are not the same thing.  I once had a fear of speaking in front of large audiences.  Alone, I could practice my speech and damn I was good.  However, in front of the audience, I couldn't control the anxiety that I was feeling.  With time, it gets easier; but as of today, if I get in front of an audience....I STILL FEEL IT.    Same thing is going to happen to Chris McPhee....once in the interview/poly he won't be able to hold it together.  He can try to hold it together because of all of your support, but bottom line - he will screw it up.  However, if he is truthful he can get that monkey off his back RIGHT NOW instead of psyching himself out before the exam.

FYI - he asked: good, too obvious, or not good enough.  Your answer of 'YES' should make him feel real comfortable. ;)

Like Sancho said, come back and let us all know how you did on your exam.

Hey Donna you chose not to copy and paste the other post where I say I am only talking about being nude in a non public area...meaning it has nothing to do with other people. Can you answer a few questions for me....have you ever been on a nude beach...have you ever had sex in a car...have you ever had sex outside maybe on a beach or something? If your answers are "No of course not" then maybe your just boring....if the answer is "Yes" then according to you, you have done illegal things and you should never have a postion of public trust. You should read TLBTLD...you could learn a lot. By the way you are speaking and saying things like "YOU WILL GET CAUGHT!", it shows how closed minded and ignorant you are. You know, you can get a point across without YELLING if you have confidence in what you say...just a thought...

Chris, the difference between you and I is 'if' I had done any of those things, I wouldn't lie to cover them up.  Also if I recall, and I am not going to go back and read all your posts again, are - you were walking around nude in your back yard.  My backyard is visible by at least 5 houses which doesn't make it non-public.  Is your back yard visible by other houses or is there a chance kids are playing hide and seek in the area and jumping fences?

BTW – how is your blood pressure right now?  Never mind, I don't really want to know.  Good luck and be sure to return and let us know how you do.

If your going to "try" and quote people you should be more caerfull...and yes, when I laugh out loud my blood pressure rises a bit so its up at the moment. Are you a polygrapher? I am wondering why you have such an interest in this subject?

This would be  her.

Again, why don't you look at the research instead of speculation.  No test is perfect, so yes there is always a chance of errors, but the research also suggests that truthful people who employ countermeasures may well be at greater risk of the failure they fear.  And once again I'd refer you to Dr. Rovner's work for more information.

Since you say he can't get his answer by "reading between the lines", will one of you please simply answer the man's question posed in the thread?
Is it
1. good
2. too obvious, or
3. not good enough?

I will later explain why I said the answer is "yes".  But first your answers.
