On Tuesday, 24 October 2006, version 2.0 of the free, open source web browser Mozilla Firefox was publicly released. It is available for Microsoft Windows,  Macintosh OS X, and Linux, and may be downloaded here:

In the past, it has been asked whether it might be possible to implement a spell-checker on this message board. The Firefox browser provides this functionality. As you type a post, if a word is not recognized by the browser's dictionary, it will be underlined in red as you type.
