When joining a police department is any of the questions on the polygraph, deal with "race"  or bias to a race,? Or any questions about race?

Some examiners may use vaguely worded CONTROL  questions that may indicate he/she is concerned about racial bias. Instead, questions about possible prejudices of various types may be asked during the background investigation, depending on the agency.

The Los Angeles Police Department has used the following as a relevant question:

"Based on your personal bias, have you ever committed a negative act against anyone?"
