:'( I am a father trying to get his children back from my states Child Protective Service (Washington state). They were removed from thier mother's home. But before I can get them back they want me to take a Psycho-Sexual Evaluation, which includes a Polygraph. What should I do???

I would highly discourage you taking a polygraph at all under these circumstances, especially if you are not accused of any misconduct.

The best thing for you to do is contact a lawyer that handles these matters.  It may cost you a pretty penny, but I think your children are well worth it.

The fact that the "psycho-sexual evaluation" includes a polygraph strongly indicates that it's quack psychology. Before you agree to any polygraph "test," read through Chapter 3 of The Lie Behind the Lie Detector for a preview of what you can expect.

I concur with Dimas' recommendation that you contact a lawyer. The Martindale lawyer locator might be helpful in finding one with the appropriate legal background in your area:
