My husband just got out of a polygraph that his job is making him take.  A former employee (who used to be his friend) accused him and several other staff of being inappropriate at work.  Everyone else is clearing their tests.  He had no physical involvement with her other than hugging and answered truthfully on the polygraph.  Anyhow, he happened to see the score +10 at the bottom of the paperwork when he was finishing up.  What does this mean.  Oh, the person giving the test also told him he was trying to control his breathing.  I guess it looked different from when he was just sitting there to when he was answering questions.

Anyway, if anyone knows what this could mean, it would put a couple of minds at ease.

Thanks,
Missdates

If the bottom-line score was +10, it would indicate that he "passed."

Unless perhaps your husband works for a government agency, his employer had no legal authority to "make" him take this invalid test. The Employee Polygraph Protection Act forbids it. It also prohibits an employer from taking any adverse action against an employee based on lie detector results. See:
