It seems that most of the polygraph horror stories involve the FBI. Has anyone gone through the ATF's application process and polygraph?

I believe that the ATF, like other federal law enforcement agencies, uses the DoDPI Law Enforcement Pre-Employment Test (LEPET). You'll find a description of this polygraph technique here:
