Why is there nothing about mental countermeasures in THE LIE BEHIND THE LIE DETECTOR????

Mental countermeasures are addressed at pp. 149-150 of the 3rd edition. (See para. 1 of the section titled "Cardio/Electrodermal Countermeasures.")
