polygraph experience

I took a polygraph for the nsa a couple of weeks ago.  After doing (I think) 8 charts, the polygrapher asked me what I wanted to get off my chest about one question.  There was really nothing on that question, it was probably the question I was worried least about.  So I said I couldn't imagine what it could be, and he asked me again, explaining in detail what the question didn't mean, and said that I was probably worried about something there.  But I wasn't, and there wasn't anything I could think of and I said so.  Then he said OK, and I left.

What do people think of this?  Was he just fishing?  I didn't get defensive at all, stayed very calm, which was easy since I was not at all concerned about that question, so does it sound like I'll have to take the poly again?  I of course would rather not, but if I have to, I will.  I was told by others that if I didn't hear in a couple of weeks, I was probably all right.  But is it possible for me to be DQed on the first go?  Would I hear about that?

FWIW, the poly itself was R/I exactly as described on here and I didn't use CMs.  But there was barely any post-test interrogation (not as some have described, just the questions above.  I doubt it took 5 minutes, and it wasn't very intimidating), and the other people I talked to after had similar experiences.

He was just fishing.  Mine did the same thing, and then announced that there was absolutely no deception.

The quizzing you received about what you "wanted to get off your chest" was indeed part of a fishing expedition -- that's the whole point behind polygraph screening. Unless you made a disqualifyting admission during the pre-test phase, I doubt you'll be disqualified at this point based on the account you provided here. But don't be surprised if you're called back in for one or more follow-up polygraph interrogations: multiple sessions seems to be the rule and not the exception at the NSA.
