Just wondering if anyone reading can share this with me. Though this is the share your experiences thread I searched through many posts but am not satisfied with the amount of actual experiences on this board of people using countermeasures in actual sessions, compared to the amount of posters posting here. I would like to hear more. I am surprised to not see any posts where someone tried CM's and still failed. Not to suggest they do not work, but rather the person may not have employed them correctly.
So did you take a polygraph and use CM's? Were you lying or truthful? Did you pass?
Thanks.

See my experiences here. A general search on my screen name will elicit quite a few posts concerning my successful use of physical, behavioral, and mental countermeasures.

Jitters,

I employed polygraph countermeasures during my FBI pre-employment polygraph exam. Immediately following the polygraph exam, the polygraph examiner told me that I did fine, with no noted problems in any area.

My decision to employ polygraph countermeasures was intended to reduce the risk of a false positive result. However, one week later, the FBI DC polygraph lab informed the FBI field office where my application was being processed, that they [DC] suspected I had possibly employed polygraph countermeasures. The FBI field office application administrator told me that DC said,
QuoteI did too good to be true [un-quote] on the exam.

In short, I took a second polygraph exam, and the result was deemed to be inconclusive.

Should you decide to employee polygraph countermeasures, my advice would be not to employ countermeasures on ALL control questions.

Simply telling the truth during a polygraph exam is no guarantee of receiving a passing result. False positives results are not uncommon.

Knowledge is power; read TLBTLD and be informed.

Good luck.
Triple x
