Canadian Polygraphs Protecting Child Molesters

I am disgusted to have learned that my ex has passed his polygraph, and the RCMP officer noted that they did not even take into consideration the fact that he is a severe alcoholic or that he has done this type of thing all of his life.  She said he was caught in a few lies about his drug and alcohol use, but not where it concerned his molesting our daughter.

Can someone please help us?  I knew that he was going to pass it.  I told them how manipulative and crafty he was.  Now what do I do?  How could he have passed the test?  Why did they not consider his alcoholism and past history?

Someone, please give me some insight into how this pig fooled the polygraph, and how I can make sure he is arrested for what he has done.

Polygraph testing has no scientific basis to begin with and the results are not to be relied upon. Among other deficiencies, polygraph "tests" is easily beaten through the use of simple countermeasures. See The Lie Behind the Lie Detector (1 mb PDF) for further explanation.
