I can't really explain this ability. It doesn't have anything to do with thinking certain thoughts or anything like that. It's some sort of bio-feedback or something. I just concentrate, and my heart begins to beat faster and I get a small rush that feels like adrenaline. (no I'm not on drugs)

Should I employ this as a CM? This ability doesn't have any physical signs other than some minor breathing pattern disruption.

If you are confident in your ability to increase your heart rate and create a small "rush" by merely concentrating, then it seems plausible that this might be suitable as a countermeasure to be applied when answering "control" questions.

That's exactly what I've been talking about on other posts. Works like a charm. You only need to spike one control question, make sure you pick the same question on each panel.

Damian,

If you want to be successful utilizing countermeasures, your reactions to control questions must be subtle, not blatently obvious.  If the polygrapher witnesses you holding your breath, or spiking huge on your cardio, I believe he will suspect countermeasures.  If you slightly alter your breathing pattern with some even rapid breaths, and squeeze your sphincter (no more than half strength) for about 9-10 seconds after the control question, that will be plenty to show a reaction.

Worked like a champ for me.  Good luck.
