I got a call from my old boss in Feb.  He had an exciting new job lined up for me, but I had to take a polygraph test 1st.  I was pretty nervous - 1st time I ever took a polygraph.  I took the test once & then I admitted to stealing from my previous employer (small stationery items - pens, pencils) & he rephrased the question.  Took the test again & failed!  Of course, by now I thought I had no chance of getting the job.

When I got home, I researched polygraphy on the internet & found this site  -  just wish I'd done it before the test!

Anyway, got a call from the HR Manager last week  -  my ex-boss (who I've known for almost 20 years btw) really wanted to give me a chance  -  would I be willing to retake the test?  Knowing the real background to the polygraph, I agreed.  Took the test on Tuesday  -  got offered the job today (Friday).

Guess I owe antipolygraph.org commission for getting the job  ;D
