	This link does not work anymore. I am currently going through the appeals process for a security clearance denial with the FBI. I have now been waiting nearly THREE years just to get my hearing in front of the Department of Justice's Access Review Committee. The FBI Security Division denied me based on a claim of 'Potential for Foreign' influence; they claimed that all of my foreign experience, including my overseas work experience (for the UN), foreign family and friends, etc. was 'extensive'. It is a baseless claim which I argued against thoroughly in my initial written appeal and with my appeal to the ARC. Through my investigation in preparing my appeal, I learned that there was indeed prejudice in my case. I even had a senior member of the FBI clearance unit admit to me that there was bias against the UN within the division. Though I had only 30 days to prepare my appeal to the ARC, the FBI has taken nearly three years to submit its side of the case. a gross violation of due process. I have approached my Congressman for assistance in this matter, and I am considering taking civil action. Has anyone else experienced something similar with the Bureau? I would be interested in knowing more. Thanks.

	What do we call it when every employee of the Agency's Office of Security and Office of Personnel drowns in the Potomac? A great beginning! The best intelligence community employee is a compromised IC employee!
