Yes. You're wasting your time with the American Polygraph Association. They won't discipline a polygrapher for an alleged false positive. Hell, they won't discipline one of their past presidents who falsely claims to be a Ph.D. in marketing his polygraph services.

The professor at Boise State College is Charles Honts. He could review your polygraph charts and might disagree with the original polygrapher's results. He could also polygraph you himself. But what's the point? Polygraph results are generally not admissible in criminal trials. You should also be aware that Professor Honts has been discredited by a federal judge -- a point that is sure to come up if you were attempt to have him testify in your behalf.

When I contacted the maker of the polygraph equipment used for my tests (Lafayette Instruments) concerning a false positive, I was directed to contact the APA and they gave me the 800 phone number.

I am also in contact with a professor at Boise State College who will review the polygraph data.

Any thoughts?
