Ex-CIA Polygrapher: "...an honest subject has no better chance than a dishonest subject of getting through the process."

The Association of Former Intelligence Officers website currently hosts a draft article by retired CIA polygrapher John F. Sullivan titled "CIA and the Polygraph" that will be of interest to those concerned with polygraph policy:

https://www.afio.com/publications/SULLIVAN_CIA_and_the_Polygraph_from_AFIO_INTEL...

In reviewing the history of the CIA's Polygraph Division from its creation in 1947 to date, Sullivan is highly critical of current practices in the CIA polygraph screening program, concluding "...an honest subject has no better chance than a dishonest subject of getting through the process."

Interesting!
Coincidentally, I believe it may have been this John Sullivan, with whom I spoke over the telephone in ca. 1990, in connection with one of my various Agency applications!  Glad he finally saw the light! Shocked

What do we call it when every employee of the Agency's Office of Security
and Office of Personnel drowns in the Potomac?   A great beginning!

The best intelligence community employee is a compromised IC employee!
