Post-Quantum Cryptography Key Exchange

As of today, both AntiPolygraph.org and our new video meeting server, meet.antipolygraph.org, support hybrid post-quantum key exchange for encrypted connections.

When your browser connects to us over HTTPS, the two sides agree on a secret key that encrypts the session. Until now, that agreement relied on elliptic-curve cryptography, which is secure against today's computers but could be broken by a sufficiently powerful quantum computer. An adversary able to record your encrypted traffic today could store it and decrypt it years from now, once such a machine exists.

Our servers now combine the existing elliptic-curve method (X25519) with a new quantum-resistant algorithm standardized by NIST (ML-KEM-768). An attacker would have to break both to read your traffic.

To benefit, you need a browser that supports it:

  • Tor Browser, version 15.0 or later
  • Firefox, version 132 or later
  • Chrome, Brave, or Edge, version 131 or later
  • Safari on iOS 26, iPadOS 26, or macOS Tahoe 26 or later

No settings need to be changed. If your browser is up to date, it is used automatically. Older browsers will continue to connect as before, using conventional encryption.
