Can anyone suggest how to successfully refute accusations of countermeasures other then saying that you did not use them?

"Countermeasures? What are they? You mean this test can be beat? I thought you said it couldn't?" That would be my response.

Well I took two test and both came back inconclusive and I did a FOIA request and it stated strong evidence of countermeasures were suspected.

This was for the FBI? Does the FBI policy allow you to retest if they suspect countermeasures?

Utter balderdash! Consider it a blessing, find a job where you don't have to deal with such folly.

Bradin761,

Did you use countermeasures?  If so what did you use, this is not an accusation, only a question.  Please don't be offended.

who wants to know

Sounds to me that Bill Brown wants to know what countermeasures you used. As polygraphers also read this i would have to respectfully say "do not answer that question" Branden761. If he wants to know let him read the  "The Lie behind the Lie Detector Test"  ;) Noticed i said Respectfully Bill Brown.

I am a polygraph examiner, and I did note "Respectfully", thank you.

Did you use countermeasures?  And I have a copy of TLBTLD on my book shelf, I have read it and studied it extensively.

When I took the test I never even heard of countermeasures. So to answer your question, no I did not use countermeasures. I answered the questions as he asked them. Nothing more, nothing less.

I would request another examination if you want to work for that agency and explain you did not use countermeasures and would like to have the opportunity to retake the examination.
