My apologies if a like topic has been posted on this board before.  I am applying for a JAG position in the United States Coast Guard and was wondering if I will be required to submit to a polygraph test prior to hiring?  I have fully disclosed all negative information (a one time marijuana use) on the SF-86; but, the idea of a polygraph just makes me nervous and I am afraid that nerves will cause me to fail even with full disclosure made beforehand. In this regard, is USCG JAG any different from the other armed forces since USCG is under DHS and the other 4 branches are DoD?

To the best of my knowledge, the U.S. Coast Guard does not require applicants or employees to submit to polygraph screening.
