Is there any credible information on the scope of the sexual behavior inquiries on the lifestlye polygraph for the CIA?

NSAreject

Do you think your sexual behavior is any of the Government's business ?

ff281

I do not, but it is unfortunately a part of the process. I was wondering if anyone knew or had an idea about the issues covered. Obviously they are looking for illegal sexual activity, but what about double teaming a fat chick with you college roommate?

ff281,

I hope you were drunk - no way would I ever do a fat
chick, otherwise !  They are big on child porn on the
Internet.  My NSA polygrapher wanted to know, if I
masturbated to porn on the Internet (the ruse was
started by his "admission").  Just don't open the door
to any kind of sexual talk - if they get you to talk about
it first, then it is not out-of-bounds for them.  I am sure
they get off on the sex talk, and if they get some good
looking chick to open up, they probably go home and
masturbate about it - polygraphers are voyeurs, and are
extremely dysfunctional.  Questions concerning sexual
activities are usually out-of-bounds (e.g., NSA), unless
you talk about it first.  Anyone know for sure ?

If you are interested in becoming a contractor to the
CIA, they have Secret and Top Secret clearances that do
not require a polygraph, if you work off-site.

Yes. See, for example, the public statement by "No Such Author" and the accounts cited at pp. 92-94 of the 4th edition of The Lie Behind the Lie Detector. While not everyone who is subjected to a lifestyle polygraph is asked about his/her sex life, as you'll see, the scope of questioning can be quite intimate (and in my opinion, entirely inappropriate and un-American).

I can't believe that No such authors experience is so much like mine and reading that digs up so many old feelings. I am a Christian man and believe in a truly changed soul. I will never take another polygraph again it was the most exusting and humiliating thing ever. For me to be judged by this interigation and call me unquallified is a true insult. But I am now working for another department and it all worked out better anyway cause I wouldnt change departments for the world. I just wonder if my current department knows the things that were talked about in that poly? Just because its some very personal stuff that is really no ones business not even a future employer much less a fellow employee. What do you think?
