Does the DOE require lifestyle poly?

What agencies if any do not require lifestyle polys? I'm feeling a little nervous right now about delving deeply into my personal life with a stranger.

The Department of Energy uses a counterintelligence-scope polygraph examination that does not include lifestyle questions. Same goes with the Department of Defense.

The agencies that may ask questions about sexual behavior are the CIA and NSA.

Federal law enforcement agencies that use the polygraph include lifestyle questions about drug use, but not sex, though the Secret Service commonly uses a question about sex with animals as a "control" question.

Yeah, I just don't feel very comfortable discussing that sort of stuff. I mean, I'm not into anything weird and have always been faithful to my partners but I'm afraid that I am going to volunteer too much in an effort to be accomodating and they are going to think I'm some sort of freak. :-) I'm not...really!

Well in spite of the questionable methods used, at least the DoD and DOE don't go into irrelevant questions regarding ones personal life.

Am I correct in assuming that a secret or top secret clearance at the NSA, CIA, DOE or DoD are all completely separate affairs with different requirements, etc. and that a clearance at one of these agencies is not transferable to the others?

The agencies all use the SF86 form - is that correct?
